After the Granite Hills Eagles were crowned Division I softball champions, pitcher Jenny Lahitte was chosen the KBCsports.com player of the game. Just a spohomore, Lahitte allowed just 2 hits and struck out six in the 7-1 victory over La Costa Canyon. With the win, Lahitte and the lady Eagles finish their outstanding 2008 campaign with a 24-7-1 record.
